Built from Experience in Fleet Operations
Changes on the Fly was born from twenty years of “on the ground” experience in the automotive and fleet industry. Our founder, Dan Cashman, spent years managing a rental branch of over 500 vehicles. He lived the daily frustrations you face: scheduling bottlenecks, revenue-killing downtime, and vendors who simply didn’t grasp the urgency of getting a vehicle back into service.
Recognizing that the industry was broken, Dan set out to fix it.
In 2015, he launched Changes on the Fly with a single truck and a clear mission: to provide the transparency, speed, and communication he wished he had as a manager. Over the last 11 years, we have evolved from a one-truck oil change operation into a comprehensive mobile maintenance powerhouse. Today, we operate a fleet of 25 service trucks, supporting thousands of vehicles across the Greater Toronto Area with a singular core philosophy: we don’t just fix vehicles; we manage downtime.
